Tirona recoqnized with Commander's Commendation

Jovic Tirona, one of our relatively new members has jumped right in to Civil Air Patrol. He organized a very well attended G1000 ground school at Fullerton to help the CAP pilots (and Observers) in S. California to understand and effectively use the G1000 equipment in our newer aircraft. Jovic organized everything from instructors to doughnuts! Thank you!

Members of Squadron 40 turned out in full uniform for the January change of command ceremony. Frank Bennett (on left), outgoing commander was honored with a Commander's Commendation certificate for his service by Group 7 commander David Boehm.

Captain Krause was also honored by completing his requirements for promotion to Major.
